Artist’s Statement

Hello, my dear friend. It is so good to see you again.

You may be aware that healing has been white-washed. We have collectively forgotten our roots of humanity. Our generational historical trauma has swept our memories clean of what once was truly sacred: art, dance, music, stillness, and our connection to the natural world. Through time and space, we have forgotten, and not really allowed ourselves to hold space to grieve all that we have lost. This leads to massive self-destruction — of our humanity, as well as our mother Earth.

Auronellie Activations was created not from a sense of clarity, but from a calling that originated in deep loneliness. The more I dwelled in that state of solitude, the hotter the flame of longing for true connection burned in my heart. Spirit was very deliberate with me. It said: you must create meaning out of nothing. Activate your inspiration through the practice of observation. When you see what lights you up, fill your life with more of that. Then, make sure to remind yourself to trust that feeling again. Continue to follow this feel-good formula, and see what happens.

Auronellie is a love letter to you. To myself. And most of all, to the Great Spirit that exists within us all. May you learn something new here, and open your heart to the inspiration that is your divine birthright. We are all artists, just as we once were as children. All we have to do is remember.

You have always been worthy. You have always been enough. You have always been an artist. It’s about time you start living like one.
